The Fazzoletto vase is one of the first works designed by Fulvio Bianconi for Venini in 1948. To achieve its sweeping form, a maestro in Murano utilizes the 15thcentury mano volante (flying hand) technique, where soft molds are spun around to form the silhouette of a handkerchief swaying in the breeze. Only one glass master can perform this gesture, making each creation a true wonder of the world. Handcrafted of blown glass Due to the artisanal nature of handblown glass, each piece is unique, and slight color variations may occur. Approx. 7.88"Dia. x 9.5"T Item weight, 2.7 lbs.
